નદીનાથ મહાદેવનું મૂળ સ્થાનક એક પ્રાચીન ગુફા મંદિર છે, જે કડાણા ડેમના નિર્માણ પછી મહિસાગર નદીના જળમાં સમાયેલું રહે છે. શ્રદ્ધાળુઓ આજે પણ નાવડીના સહારે ગુફા સુધી પહોંચી દર્શનનો લાભ લે છે. The original shrine of Nadinath Mahadev is an ancient cave temple that, since the construction of the Kadana Dam, remains submerged for much of the year in the waters of the Mahisagar river. Devotees still travel by boat to reach the cave sanctum for darshan.
